About Facilities Planning & Management
Welcome to the Facilities Planning and Management department at the USF Sarasota-Manatee campus. Our department is comprised of a dedicated team of professionals whose goals are to provide effective stewardship of the University’s physical resources, support the University’s mission and deliver excellent customer service.
Facilities Planning and Management is responsible to the Regional Chancellor of the University of South Florida Sarasota-Manatee campus for the planning, design, construction and management of the physical facilities and environment of the campus. Together, these functions underlie a continuing responsibility to provide the environment necessary for the fulfillment of the instructional and research needs of the University within the available resources.
Facilities Planning and Management maintains a productive and mutually beneficial relationship with the University of South Florida leadership and appropriate administrative departments for the reporting of the campus master plan, capital improvement plan, legislative budget requests, space utilization, and other relevant information to the Florida Board of Governors (BOG).

Our mission is to provide leadership and expertise for the successful planning, design, construction and management of the physical environment that enables the University of South Florida Sarasota-Manatee campus to achieve its objectives in instruction, research and public service.

Our vision is to provide the highest quality and cost effective physical environment with emphasis on being technically competent, environmentally friendly, efficient and customer-centered across the wide spectrum of our responsibilities.
