Past chairs reflect on 30 years of USF Sarasota-Manatee's Brunch on the Bay

Over the past 30 years, University of South Florida Sarasota-Manatee's Brunch on the Bay has grown in significance and stature to become the campus’s signature philanthropic event and a highlight on the local social calendar. Each year, alumni, business leaders and other community members gather on the campus to dine on fine cuisine from some of the area’s leading restaurants and caterers and, more importantly, join the region’s preeminent university in supporting and awarding scholarships to deserving students.

U.S. News ranks USF a top 50 public university, best value among all Florida universities

For the sixth year in a row, the University of South Florida sits among the top 50 public universities in America, according to U.S. News & World Report’s annual ranking of the best colleges.

Over the past 10 years, USF has risen an impressive 39 spots among public universities from No. 84 to No. 45, and 65 spots among all universities, from No. 156 to No. 91.

Don't miss the Benefits Fair and Wellness Expo in the Student Center Ballroom on Oct. 9 from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. Learn about employee benefits, enjoy wellness opportunities — including flu and COVID vaccinations, blood pressure and glucose screenings and vision and hearing testing — or try the smoothie bike and chair massage. The mobile blood drive bus will be onsite throughout the event.

Celebrate USF Homecoming from Oct. 14 - 19 with a slate of exciting events, including a retro arcade night, a roller rink rally and more!

The community is invited to visit the Hospitality Learning Lab on Oct. 16, Oct. 23, Nov. 6 or Nov. 20, for Bulls Bistro. Each Bistro event runs from 5:30 - 7 p.m. and features a unique culinary theme, offering attendees a diverse experience of international cuisines. Tickets are available now.

Brunch on the Bay, the annual marquee fundraiser, is set for Sunday, Nov. 3. The philanthropic event will again support student scholarships and campus initiatives. Tickets are on sale now.
