The University of South Florida is launching a new certificate program, “Resilient Leadership in an Anxious World,” developed in conjunction with the Institute for Public Policy and Leadership and the M3 Center for Hospitality Technology and Innovation. The program will equip leaders with the skills and knowledge to understand the complex organizational dynamics and to navigate challenging situations with calm, clarity and conviction.

Remake Learning Days

Almost 80 kids and family members put their forensic skills to work, partnering with volunteers from the University of South Florida to solve a doggone crime as part of a community learning festival.

The “crime” — the destruction of a dog toy left behind inadvertently at a dog park — wasn’t real, but program participants used investigative and scientific techniques that simulated those used by real criminal investigators to crack the case.

Girls Inc. Eureka! — Girls Inc. Eureka! is returning to USF for a STEM-based summer camp aimed at engaging and empowering 8th - 12th grade girls. During the Eureka! program, girls get to participate in a variety of exciting and compelling activities that explore the cutting edge world of STEM through hands-on experiences in a college campus environment. JGHC Summer Honors Institute: Mock Trial Intensive — The JGHC Summer Honors Institute: Mock Trial Intensive is now enrolling rising 10th, 11th and 12th grade students for Summer 2023. In a week-long session, collegiate mock trail competitors and current law students will support high school students as they learn the step-by-step process of court proceedings and gain knowledge and experience of advocacy, critical thinking, creative thinking, argument construction, basic understanding of the law as it relates to the courtroom, courtroom decorum, logic, reason, rhetoric and public speaking.
