Special Event Parking
A well-planned event allows attendees to focus on the event and leaves them with an enjoyable experience and the feeling that they would like to return in the future. Parking arrangements must be properly coordinated to make it part of this enjoyable experience. This means that Parking Services must be consulted by USF departments at the beginning of the event planning process so proper parking permits and lot assignments may be made. Only Parking Services has the authority to close streets, lots and parking spaces for special events and to perform necessary maintenance. Parking Services will provide special event permits according to contracts or agreements with USF Sarasota-Manatee campus. Please contact: sar-parking@usf.edu
Event participants should contact their event coordinator to find out what arrangements have been made for parking. Participants for events with 30 or fewer attendees should be e-mailed a temporary permit to put on their vehicle’s dashboard. Event parking is usually assigned to South Lots 4 & 5 located off Sea Gate Drive on the far southwest side of campus.
