Electric Vehicle Charing
Purpose
In support of USF sustainability initiatives, USF provides EV charging stations as an amenity. There is one station with two stalls on each side located on campus for use by faculty, staff, students, and visitors with USF parking permits.
General Usage Rules & Regulations
- A vehicle parked in an EV charging space must be actively charging.
- There is a 4-hour daily limit. Citations will be issued to vehicles parked beyond the 4-hour time limit.
- Charging your EV at USF is on a first-come-first served basis.
- If a non-plugin vehicle is parked in an EV-only space, contact Security at 941-993-8548 and notify Parking Services at sar-parking@usf.edu.
Quick Facts
- All machines are Level 2 Chargers.
- Charging stations use the ChargePoint system. To obtain a ChargePoint account, please follow this link.
Locations USF Sarasota-Manatee currently has 1 electric vehicle (EV) charging station with two stalls available for charging as part of the ChargePoint network. It is located in South Lot 4 on Seagate Drive, across from Atala Hall.
