Roberto Jiménez hails from Puerto Rico has a B.A. and a M.A. in Spanish Languages and Literatures from University of South Florida, and is currently working on his Ph.D. in Interdisciplinary Education. His research interests include the future of Humanities and Liberal Arts in Higher Ed and the relationship between these disciplines with the development of Emotional Wellness in students. Prof. Jiménez currently serves as the Coordinator of the Minor in Spanish and Latin American Studies at the USF Sarasota-Manatee campus. He is also the Program Director of the USF Study Abroad Program in Mérida, Yucatán. Below are noteworthy achievements by Prof. Jiménez.
