A Canadian native, Chef Garry Colpitts is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of Canada and Holland College of the Province of Prince Edward Island. He has worked in hotels and resorts specializing in international, classical, and contemporary Cuisine. Chef Colpitts is an ACF Certified Executive Chef with the American Culinary Federation (ACF), Certified Food Service Educator (CFSE), Master’s degree in hospitality management.
Before joining the USF Sarasota-Manatee campus as the Culinary Services Manager for the Culinary Innovation Laboratory in Lakewood Ranch, he was program coordinator of the Culinary /pastry arts program at Manatee Technical Institute in Bradenton, Florida.
