Going to college is a great time to gain more independence – but it doesn’t mean you have to do it all alone.
Whether you need assistance with your four-year course plan, navigating Canvas or finding available campus resources, remember that you have a community at the University of South Florida Sarasota-Manatee campus, the Tampa campus and the St. Petersburg campus dedicated to your academic personal and professional goals.
Academic Advising
Our Academic Advising team goes above and beyond for all of our Bulls. Not sure which class is better to take for your individual career goals? Have questions about credit requirements, academic probation or registering for classes? Ask away! We’ll have the answers you need to succeed.
Academic Advocacy
Our office is dedicated to supporting you in your journey, from your first day at USF to graduation. We work individually with students who may be facing barriers and review their available options.
Academic Success Center
The Academic Success Center (ASC) at the USF Sarasota-Manatee campus provides free tutoring and writing consultations to all actively enrolled students. Tutoring is provided for a variety of courses and subjects, offering both face-to-face and online tutoring options.
Information Commons
Information Commons is more than a place in the rotunda to study and hangout with fellow Bulls; it’s also an easy-to-access hub of academic support committed to helping you make the most out of your academic experience. Not only is this where you can get assistance from departments like E-Learning, but we also have the Academic Resource Desk, Tutoring and Library Services – all of which are available and ready to support your academic progress at the USF Sarasota-Manatee campus.
Technology Services
Having computer problems? Not sure how to access wireless internet on campus? Or have other questions about technologies like ClickShare, AirMedia and more? Reach out to our Technology Services staff members for help!
